Star Trek

Wild Wild West

Combat

Rat Patrol

Do these count because all we had was a black and white TV? Years later I discovered Star Trek was in color as was Wild Wild West.

I’m ashamed to say I was a TV zombie from 1954, when channel 11 started broadcasting in Colorado Springs, to 1962 when I graduated from high school.  I was a slack-jawed cyborg for two hours after supper until my 9 pm (yes, 9!) bedtime.  Had to arise at 4:30 AM to deliver the morning edition newspaper before breakfast and school.

I recall Maverick, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke especially, but dad exercised control of the channels ( no remote, I was the remote: “Change the channel!”)

It took me a long time to grow up.  Finally made it at about 40.

Howdy,

Favorite had to be Superman.

Then Lone Ranger and Cisco and Pancho.

I found that when I got to college I did far better without tv around.

After I finally graduated someone gave me their old tv when they

bought a new one.  That got me watching again.

Seems the cable was still connected in my apartment.

Free cable for a while.  I hear thats how drug dealers operate too.

Sometimes the tv turns off after a video ends.

I enjoy the silence for a while.

Too much tv.

Whatayagonnado?

You people are old. I saw some of those as reruns. Favorite is the Rifleman, Andy Griffith, and Rawhide.  Never heard of some of those early and mid 50's shows.
