Warden Callaway
Sawmill Mary and I took a tour of our favorite toy stores on Thursday. And to get peaches at an orchard between. Anyway, I wasn't expecting to find a 3rd generation Colt SAA in 38WCF NIB at a comfortable price. I'm a shooter, not a collector so I usually pass on NIB. As seen in gunshop. Set free of box and tie. It's mate made in 1906 90 years before. A little gray after 114 years.

Warden Callaway
Preview. Breaking it in right! 70 and 90% humidity. I was out 30 minutes and was totally soaked with sweat.

Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
I sure like the way those old gutta percha turned brown. Are you able to recover much lead using the tires or is that the intent?

Warden Callaway
First 10 shots on cardboard. 10 steps, two handed, resting wrists over 4x4. Not a one hole group but good enough windage and elevation.
Waxahachie Kid #17017 L
Great thread. Thanks for posting. I got a Colt pre-war, in .38 WCF, a few years back. Never thought much about that caliber, but was offered the Colt at a good price. My Ma did not raise too much of an idiot, so I jumped at the chance, and bought it. I must say, the .38 WCF is now my favorite caliber. A real sleeper, I.M.H.O. Thanks again. W.K.

If nothing else it shows the effects that humidity and wind play in how much smoke is produced and how it hangs around. I wanted a more exciting ending but didn't have carbonated soda, shaving cream or a ripe melon.
Tex Jones, SASS 2263
Both pistols look good. Once you get the old timer refinished you won't be able to tell them apart. Thanks for the video.
