You know we have guards on the border now

I hope y'all have another great match. I was able to sneak across the Tennessee / Alabama border when the guards weren't looking but I won't be able to make it this year.

Unless the range has been moved to 7000 feet above sea level and I have access to unlimited amounts of beer and moonshine I think I'll be ok.....BUT you never know!

Stan

Well not quite 7000 ft, more like 610.

There will how ever be a lot of Bourbon, Beer, Whiskey and Absinthe.

App sent in Monday, hopefully it'll get there soon.

Frog Toggs have been located and stored in my gun cart...

I put a set pontoons on my guncart.

We need somebody to do a Sun Dance for the shoot. Maybe we can get T-Bone to lead the Sun Dance.

I'd be careful with any dances, witchcraft, voodoo, etc., it is 2020 after all.

Yeah, we don't need to be summoning any kaiju, Old Ones or Wendigo.

Or maybe we do.

Well it has occurred to me after being enlightened by Tennessee Tombstone that I should probably inform everybody about the bridge.

The bridge is out... There are two ways to the range.

First we build some ramps on either side that allow you to get a running start and jump the bridge. We have had no takers on this option yet. (there is still hope)

Second is follow the detour signs. You can see the route around the bridge on our website. https://www.caverncovecompetitiveshooting.com scroll down till you find it.

The bridge should be finished this month (September).

I've never jumped anything that far with the truck and camper.  Besides, the wife's screaming would probably upset the dog.  I guess I'll go around if they haven't got it done by match day.

Evil Bob, doing something like that would cause your dog to take up smoking! :D

I noticed Sunday at the Monthly that they had the new concrete top poured for the bridge. It is sitting taller than the old bridge so they need to do a little work to ramp you up on the bridge and off and get some guardrails installed, but it MIGHT be done in time for Ambush......

I guess that eliminates the truck jumping competition...

We finished the new fire pit area complete with a 150 feet of new drainage ditch this weekend. We moved somewhere close to 30 tons of gravel and rock one stone at a time. One stone at a time I tell ya!

Don't believe him fellers! I was watchin' 'em while doing the carpenterin', an' paintin' and that new fangled lightinin' wranglin' on the cabin an' stages. They wasn't moving rocks & stones one at a time, they was havin' a gravel spittin' contest one piece at a time! Well......at least until somebody lost a tooth.

Well there was a tooth lost, it involved an Armadillo and shenanigans.
