It is made of BLACK LEATHER and is braided very nicely, with a loop for you hand and a 8" handle with braided leather all around. The nine tails are 15" long with a knot on the end of each tail, that was put there to cut into whatever it was hit with. This type of whip can be used in many ways. To control your horse, scare the kids when they don't want to go to bed, and lots of others reasons.
