Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L
Just a little entertainment before dinner (the cat)! (I had owls come at my dog a couple of times years ago. I had to scramble to get the owls to veer off of the attack. If the owl had connected, it would have been surprised as the dog was a 34 lb Boston Terrier - all muscle!) Forty Rod SASS 3935
That sucker would intimidate me in the dark. I was assaulted by a hawk in the dark one time. They are spooky fast and never where you aim. NEVER! And owls and hawks are both nearly silent in flight.

Utah Bob #35998
An owl stole my atv once. They are as untrustworthy as goats.
Phantom Falcon, SASS # 46139
I saw that on FB and didn't know what it was. The clip was not as good as this one. PF
Smuteye John SASS#24774
Ever seen an owl's talons up close? The bird in the video has feet as big as your hand and they are tipped with claws the length of your finger tip. They don't call them raptors and birds of prey for nothing. Pat Riot
Years ago I was standing on a hilltop in the desert at night looking to see if my friend was doing okay navigating the desert after dark to get to our camping / shooting area. All of a sudden a Great Horned Owl made an attempt at landing on my cowboy hat. It was quite a surprise for both of us, to say the least. Scared the hell out of me until I realized what had happened. He went one way, I went the other. I was still laughing about it when my friend finally arrived.
