Mildly creepy, but cool.

Only "mildly?"  About like waking up in a Twilight Zone episode.  On the other hand, some of those women were easy on the eye.

At first glance I expected a recipe ~ then realized I'd mis-read "Chile."  ^_^

Ancestry on Ma's side is Prussian.  Family tree is full of names like Marquardt, Bastian, Funck, Inginatius, Hottopff....

Yeah, me too. I was thinking “Wow! Prussian chili...wonder what that’s like?”

Okay, more weirdness. How cool would it be to have a band named “Ignatius Funk”?:D

Okay...I’m done now

Despite its Dictator past and socialistic leanings, today Chile prospers under a free-market system and Democratic Republic government.

When our beloved country is given over to the Socialists and Marxists by the ignorant Democrats and the weakened Republicans, Chile might be the country to move to.  Even their flag looks like our Texas flag.

I’m no fascist, but I’ve always thought the WWII German uniform is quite handsome.

Nope. I’ll never leave. Not in my DNA. I’m programmed to resist.

Never start a sentence with “I’m no fascist, but..”
Germany and Franc competed for the Most Stylish Military Uniform for a few centuries. Most military collectors agree the German uniforms of the 40s were probably the peak of 20th century uniform fashion. Too bad there’s such a hideous stigma attached them.

Though not a constitutional right, personal firearm ownership is permitted in Chile for any resident over the age of 18. The extensive procedure for acquiring a weapon includes registering a home address with the national firearm authority (Directorate General of National Mobilization, DGMN), receiving psychiatric approval, and passing an official exam on the proper use and maintenance of firearms. A standard permit allows ownership of up to two weapons. An individual must apply for an additional license and provide justification in order to own more than two guns
