Yeah, the guys at work were saying a bunch of stuff about my retirement the other day. One comment in particular was; “Holy Cow, when Tom gets to be a double digit midget he’s going to be a lot less cordial to all these politicos we have around here.”
Thry we’re all in the lunchroom talking really loud as I was coming down the hall.

At least they were saying nice things about me and I heard no grumbling like; “I can’t wait for that guy to leave”. ;)

I already live where fruitcakes and nut jobs abound, so, no, I want country normal.

92…tick, tick, tick… :D

Well, on Thursday I submitted  retirement paperwork at work for my retirement.
On Friday I submitted my retirement application with the state.
One Monday I am submitting my retirement application for another plan I have.
On Thursday I cashed out a plan I had that was intended to pay off all my debt and leave with some money for a home down payment or for whatever. No, not new Cowboy guns…

Still waiting for that money to appear in my bank account. Maybe Monday.
We have leads on two houses we like in PA but still looking in WV.

Now this is becoming very real.
And it feels really good. :D

Last I looked 23 states have Constitutional carry - I'd sure pick one of those if I could.  Wasn't much of an issue when I picked Montana - just lucky!

PA doesn’t have Constitutional Carry…yet.
WV does.
I was told by 2 different gun stores and 3 different people that getting a CCW in PA is super easy if you have a clean record. 20 minutes at the Sheriffs office once you establish residency.
I would prefer to live in West Virginia, but it appears I will get more bang for my Buck in PA on home purchases.
There is no rule that I have to stay in PA if I move there. ;)

My daughter is in PA and planning her escape, but she is in a metro area. PA is a very attractive state, and varied.  Was there many times in past years.  Personally, I hate moving - you might as well dump your stuff on a football field and have someone stir it with a Bobcat!
