Long matches are fun. I remember when we used to shoot 10 stage monthly. matches. It can be tiring but well worth it.

By the way, Thank you for tracking my countdown. I do appreciate it. :)

I know - I used to be involved in the set up and take down of those matches in Norco for many years. And then shot it also!

My pleasure. Just hope I make it to the end.

827 DAYS!!!!

OK Pat, here's a retirement schedule for ya.

I've been following it for a few years now.

Yes... :P

My company (agency) is offering a retirement “buyout” to get rid of those of us that are within a couple of years of retirement. The offer is semi-interesting to me. Technically, I cannot just accept it and walk away, but I may have an ace up my sleeve if my wife and I can find one document that she misplaced in our move.

Fingers crossed.

Well, It looks like I am stuck at my job for the next two years, two months and twenty-nine days.

We could not afford to retire right now.  So, onward and upward.

Injun Ryder,

As much as I appreciate your efforts in this it wouldn't break my heart if we paused this countdown until a more reasonable time period. I  thinks it's great that you do this every day.

Someday, when we meet, drinks are on me. :D

Not a chance. Your haven’t run up enough IOUs for keeping you morale up yet. Figure by the time you retire the rest of us will be drinking for free for a couple of years. :D
