Legs up like this is supposed to mean that they are very comfortable and content in their home. I suppose being allowed in his own chair is part of it, The big dogs have mats and extra rugs and even padded kennels but they don't do it much. Quote

When they are this small the hamper is the best and easiest way to contain them all when cleaning their area and weighing them. when they get bigger we use it to carry them up and down the stairs to go outside. It goes from all in a hamper to 3 at max when they are ready to go outside. Average of 14 oz when born and usually around 10 lbs at 8 weeks old when they go home. 2 1 Quote
Alpo Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 What are they? Besides BIG? 10 pounds at 8 weeks, so somewhere around 100 when they're grown? What kind of dog? 1 Quote

What kind of dog? Golden Retrievers The little fellas in the photo are 3 weeks old today. The biggest is 3 1/2 lbs and smallest is under 2 lbs Our male is 5 years old and he’s just shy of 90 lbs. Out females range from 1-4 years old and 25-70 lbs. The biggest puppy we had go home at 8 weeks was 15 lbs. he was part of a very small litter so he got lots of momma milk. I made friends with some German shepherd breeders in Colorado, Von Alpenmac, and I gotta say - being chased around by a pack of happy puppies is a quick way to get licked to death lol Not a bad way to go I thought at the time lol 5 Quote
