She looked surprised and said "But Dad, I haven't done anything. I hate my job, we don't own a house, we live paycheck to paycheck. Why would you be proud?" I said "Because you struggle you are strong. You are raising a wonderful son, you have a great marriage and I really like you as a person. All that other stuff means nothing.
