Clockwise, top left: Daniel Spencer served as a member of the backup troops sent to cover the operatives in a secret mission to capture Benedict Arnold, after he had defected to the British. George Fishley fought in the Battle of Monmouth 1778. William Hutchings enlisted at the age of 15, fighting in the siege of Castine, 1779. Simeon Hicks, a Minuteman from Rehoboth, Mass., helped seal off a British garrison in Boston after the Battles of Lexington and Concorde. He also fought in the Battle of Bennington, August 16, 1777. Jonathan Smith fought in the Battle of Long Island, 1778.
