Whiskey Hicks
I just saw Sabata with Lee Van Cleef. Entertaining spaghetti western, but by gummit, I think his tools of the trade were near fictional. 4 or 6 barrels on a Derringer along with a Goldenboy that has a screw in barrel? Abilene, SASS # 27489
How about Adios, Sabata (Yul Brynner this time) with his harmonica rifle? Keep a cigar in the last slot
Rafe Conager SASS #56958
Both the 4 barrel derringer and the harmonica rifle were actual guns, the harmonica rifle was the brainchild of john brownings dad, and there was a 4 barrel sharps derringer Rafe

Long Johns Wolf
Breech pic. Does this answer the questions? This little beast is a 7-shooter and it is proof tested. I don't know about the one used in the movie. Long Johns Wolf
Baltimore Ed
True spaghetti westerns. High stepping horses, weird looking wagons and gimmicky rifles and pistols. How about Banjo’s banjo rifle? And they never miss.
Deacon Henry, SASS #53503L
LJW that is a real cool pistol, tell us more about it. Did you make this? Can the grip fire like in the movie? Two different calibers? .22 and .38? Thanks for posting.

Long Johns Wolf
This Sabata derringer is a project gun of an Austrian master gunsmith. He made this one on order for a collector. Kalibers are .38 x 4 and in the butt .22 x 3 And yes, the grip can fire like in the movie. Long Johns Wolf

Earl Brasse, SASS #3562
You just have to love it when fiction becomes reality. (all it takes is talent & money... most likely a fair amount both) Thank for posting.

Long Johns Wolf
The gunsmith who made this derringer is a good friend of mine in Austria. He let us have the piece on occasion of a Centaure exhibition a few years back This gentleman also made most of my Centaure and Colt conversions I am using in CAS, just completed a Paterson conversion project in .41 cal. and last year this 1855 Root Dragoon. Long Johns Wolf
No, no videos. I doubt the new owner ever shot it after the piece was proof tested. Long Johns Wolf
