Okay, I am officially making the noises of a chicken laying a paving brick ...

I'm in a tank top, here's a picture ...

Why can I imagine LCOL Willamina Keller doing just this identical thing!

They dont fly far and they come down HARD.

We (the unit, not me) did it a few times for publicity shots and then we had to stop when we ruptured the fuel tanks:blush:

 

Our other trick was to go flat out down a slope covered in frost, hit the skids and spin the tank round. Not for the faint hearted.

I know what it is to crawl a Fordson track mounted tractor over a frosted log on a sidehill.
Started over it at the top end and when the tractor hit balance point, ZIP and we were at the bottom of the log, just that fast.
Didn't bother the Fordson, it kept cackling forward along the sidehill.

(File that one under S for "Scares me and I'm fearless!")
Now that's in a relatively light weight crawler tractor.
Spinning a Leopard on frosty ground is NOTHING I would EVER!!! want to do!
