For Space Force theme song.

;)

I won’t even bother to mention the obvious Elton John song.

I would suggest no lyrics and have the master at this genre, John Williams write the score!;)

A small sample of his Resume:

Jaws

Star Wars

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Superman

Raiders of the Lost Ark

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Jurassic Park

Schindler’s List

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

How about the theme from Star Wars?  Impressive, inspiring, and recognizable.  Some one could come up with some words to go with it.

Two years before that Perals Before Swine released a song titled  "Rocket Man."

I rather like FKCGG's suggestion of having a professional compose one.

"Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Was very popular in the 60's when I was working on the Apollo Program. Used to have Saturday night beach parties and sang it a lot, especially when we drank lots of Ripple.  LOL

"Up in the Air Junior Birdmen" I have no clue who wrote it and little recollection of what context. Probably a kids program from the sixties. Maybe an advertisement for some product since it includes"send those coupons in."  Selling "wings of tin"?Kids flight wings, sounds about right.

Elementary school flashback, anybody?

I believe UP IN THE AIR JUNIOR BIRDMAN was the Army making fun of the Air Corps during World War II.

The perfect Space Forces song.

Quote

The Junior Birdmen of America was a national organization for boys and girls interested in aviation and model plane building, founded (ca. 1934) and promoted by the Hearst newspaper chain, with the cooperation of the U.S. Bureau of Air Commerce.[1]

The Junior Birdmen of America (JBA) program was officially launched on April 15, 1934, with notices published in every William Randolph Hearst-owned newspaper in America
