Half cooked is already burned. If a good chef can still save it it’s done

There are a lot of folks eating meat so rare that I know I've seen animals burned worse just get up and walk away.

I try not to eat any meat that still moves or makes a noise.

Well, I'm only advocating three things.

1.  SASS approved Baptist Category

2. The Earth is Flat

3. Reestablishing the nation of Prussia.

Oh.  And, I like my steak "medium."   By golly!!

Had a business partner who was born in Prussia.  Amazing woman and so was her husband, who was also from Prussia.  They finally became U. S. citizens in 2014, just before we moved to Arizona.  They were so proud. I asked why they decided to become citizens so long after they came here.  Her husband in his slow way and with a really strong accent after all those years replied "Vell, it vass abowt time so vee did it."

He passed away a few years ago and Hanna just retired form the business we shared at the age of 92.

I like my steak medium well, which was medium until some dipstick changed the standard back in the late 90’s.

If you measure manliness by how someone orders their steak I would say you have some mental issues and please don’t stand near me. I don’t want what you have. ;)

I eat my steaks medium well, meaning I prefer the meat thoroughly cooked.  Every now and then, I toy with the idea of asking for well done, but that is very iffy.

Unless you like your “well done” burnt to a crisp (NOT an exaggeration), go for medium well at the Oxbow Steakhouse in Belton, TX.

I eat steaks medium well.  I am comofortable enough in my masculinity that I don't need to put on a caveman outfit every time I go to eat a steak.

I also had to go through a week long food safety seminar back when I was in the restaurant business.  After a week of hearing about all the different kinds of parasites and bacteria infest our meat, medium well is pushing it for me.

If you actually believe that the only options on a steak are raw or charcoal, then you need to learn how to run a grill and actually cook one.  If you know what you are doing, then you can easily cook a steak done enough to be safe without making it into a piece of shoe leather.
