Changing one letter would really make that whole slogan much better "Defund The Police" can easily become "Defend The Police". I have been very tempted to get a large black sharpie and some blank name tags and correct some of the stupid signs I've seen taped to phone poles downtown. I have a few friends who, after retiring from an LEO career, went on to some very lucrative jobs in private security. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when watching the Oscars one year after seeing one of them being shown in the audience filling a seat. People told me when I retired I’d be looking for another job within 6 months because I’d be bored. Wrong. 14 years now. I have beat the odds for retired LEO life expectancy too.
