levi littleton
I have cash, or new USFA cylinder barrels combos, and parts including new hammers I can swap or do partial trades/cash with. Let me know. Thanks.
Goody, SASS #26190
I don't think it will work. The Bisley in a Colt or Colt Clone is very different than a SAA. The hammer/hammer spring are totally different in how they fit together. Look at this exploded view to see the stirrup arrangement at the top of the spring. I think the frame is different as well, placing the screw at a different place. I think your only choice will be to have someone do a cut and weld, which would call for two hammers, one SAA and one Bisley.
levi littleton
Thanks, I appreciate that. But not wanting a Colt Bisley hammer. USFA made hundreds of Bisley styled hammers to fit their SAA style guns. The hammer I am looking for is USFA made and drops right in to a USFA SAA. Hard to come by these days. But not the best SASS hammer. Looks real similar to the one on the far right. and installed in a USFA gun

Three Gun Cole
I bought a set of factory USFA hammers that have a lower profile, their not bisleys, but they are similar
levi littleton
Thanks! The low profile hammers are nice but not what I am looking for.
