Forty Rod SASS 3935
Bring it on. With the snow and rain now the fire hazard closing everything down I'm sorely in need of some practice.

Pat Riot
Unfortunately I am not in a rural area and I have to go to work near LAX. My daughter texted me earlier that looters have taken their show on the road and hit stores off the freeway about a mile or so from us. Looks like Mr. PC Carbine and one of the Glock brothers will be my escorts today.
Calamity Kris
I was quite surprised to hear they closed our tiny mall in the middle of nowhere Central Florida yesterday afternoon because of the threat of looting and violence. The senator from our area said if there was violence of any kind towards the citizens, we did have the right under state law to stand our ground, including the use of deadly force. We'll see what happens next.
Widder, SASS #59054
Poor souls. I welcomed them with some hot coffee and biscuits and jelly. Then they tried to burn the house down but I forgave them. Then they tore down the fence and allowed the pigs to get loose, but I forgave them. They raided the hen house and started throwing the eggs at me, but I forgave them. When they raided the cellar where Grandma kept her canned goods and 'Splo' (lemonade) Grandma wasn't easy to forgive them. You'll find their carcass behind the barn. Maybe God will forgive them. ..........Widder
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I understand the (Rioters) decided to take their road show from urban Seattle and Bellevue, to the small mill town of Snohomish. BUT when they got there they found the residents standing around, ARMED, protecting their town. Strange thing is, the (rioters) moved on and did no damage. Strange how that happened. Cat Brules If you come through the wire, You have made me fear for my life and as such have pushed the button that allows me to go defensive. At such time I will use everything I have to protect me and mine. I have seen the results of a lawyer released on an intentional property trespass. It wasn't pretty. Trailrider #896
Fortunately, there have been no incidents near me and mine! Should there be, however, I will turn my two dogs loose on them. One is a chichi-terrier mix and the other a cockapoo! The latter one runs very fast for a ten-year-old "puppy", but I in the event someone can run faster, I bet they can't exceed 830 ft/sec! Nor 1200 ft/sec worth of shot. And if that isn't enough, how about 2700 ft/sec times eight ("Ping!' my a$$!)! What is scary about these rioters is the number NOT wearing masks or maintaining "social distancing"! Our governor has suggested they all be tested for COVID-19 virus. Now, I can just see a participant saying to the person at the testing station, "Oh, I was just out with some friends the other night, and please disregard the tear gas residue on my clothing!" Stay well and off the streets, Pards!
Four-Eyed Buck,SASS #14795
Local communications were advising that several on/off ramps on 77 here were shut down last evening. Believe we had some sort of protest going on at the time. I know the Saturday one formed in the parking lot of my SIL's nursing home( very downtown). It's still in lock down so the residents were safe inside.

Make sure you don't brake any CA laws by not transporting them unload and locked up in the trunk or with trigger lock.

Yeah, that'll work. A bunch of 20-something wannabes starting a riot in the middle of a few thousand Civil War reenactors. That's as dumb as screwing with a bunch of SCA folks. We'll see what happens next. Well, I stopped by our local big box store for gas and a couple of things before heading home from work tonight. I was a little surprised to see a BIG burly armed guard in a bullet proof vest standing outside the store. Considering recent events, I didn't think it wasn't too far off so I went about my business. While inside, another customer told me there were some protesters and trouble makers at the Walmart half a block away. Most of the employees in the big box store seemed to be rather concerned so I hustled through my errand and made my way out. As I was leaving, the first guard was joined by another BIGGER armed guard. They were closely monitoring the entrance to the parking lot as well as the field that was between the big box store and Walmart. I decided to take the long way home and avoid driving in that direction all together. Strange times we live in...........
