You can't make it up.  I got this update from the Santa Rosa Police

Community: Santa Rosa Police Department Pursuit - 20-6001

Dear Joe Lovell,

On Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at about 11:00 a.m., The Santa Rosa Police Department received a report that a vehicle trailer had been stolen.  The caller, a manager at a rental company in Santa Rosa, saw the trailer being towed by a pick-up truck near the intersection of Piner Road and Airway Drive in Santa Rosa.  He recognized the open bed utility trailer as having been stolen from their lot and began following it.  The driver meandered through Santa Rosa streets until police caught up with it.  Police officers got behind the vehicle and trailer as the driver entered onto southbound Highway 101 at Steele Ln.  The driver refused to yield to officer’s attempts to stop her and a pursuit was initiated.  The vehicle continued south on Highway 101, reaching speeds of about 80 mile per hour and dropping cargo and debris from the trailer bed and from the back of the pick-up.  A cargo dolly fell out of the bed of the pick-up a nd became lodged under the trailer before the driver stopped north of Todd Road.  The driver exited the vehicle holding a cordless blower motor.  She started the blower, which had been packed with glitter, causing a cloud of glitter to shower down on officers and southbound traffic.  Officers were able to take the driver into custody without further incident.

The vehicle blocked traffic on Highway 101 for a short period of time before being moved to the shoulder.  The driver, Aura Palma, a 32-year-old homeless woman, was placed into custody at the Sonoma County Jail on felony charges related to the stolen trailer and the pursuit.

Three Hots & a Cot. Showers, air conditioning, clean clothes, new nickname...”Glitter Girl”, new friends. It probably all worked out for her.
