Who uses one and would you recommend yours?

We bought my Son-in-Law the unit in this link below. He loves it and uses it all the time. He has had it for 3 years and has never had a problem with it.

ouch! Must like the sil. Been researching a bunch. I presently use the sear or reverse sear (thickness dictates) and the oven. Gan cook some awesome steaks/pork chops but I would like to try the Sous Vide method. Vacuum bag, immerse in pot for a determined time with Sous Vide device attached and you  get a medium rare steak every time. Sear with the ol' iron skillet and you get a steak done to just this side of medium. Throw away the bag, dump the water and you are almost dome.

It costs more but we bought our in chamber vacuum and sous vide equipment from J B Prince Co. in New York. They are a supplier to chefs.
