Pat Riot
We bought my Son-in-Law the unit in this link below. He loves it and uses it all the time. He has had it for 3 years and has never had a problem with it. https://www.amazon.com/ChefSteps-Joule-Sous-Watts-White/dp/B0727R431B/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1HRDHWCZD2TUM&dchild=1&keywords=sous+vide&qid=1590185704&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011&rnid=2661617011&sprefix=sous+vid%2Caps%2C216&sr=8-
Red Cent
ouch! Must like the sil. Been researching a bunch. I presently use the sear or reverse sear (thickness dictates) and the oven. Gan cook some awesome steaks/pork chops but I would like to try the Sous Vide method. Vacuum bag, immerse in pot for a determined time with Sous Vide device attached and you get a medium rare steak every time. Sear with the ol' iron skillet and you get a steak done to just this side of medium. Throw away the bag, dump the water and you are almost dome. Happy Jack, SASS #20451
It costs more but we bought our in chamber vacuum and sous vide equipment from J B Prince Co. in New York. They are a supplier to chefs.
