Snakebit Slim Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 Trying to improve this gun since I already have it. It was a 28” but had been shortened to 25” when I got it 47 years ago. The hammer springs are so stiff that it doesn’t want to open fully making it more difficult to shuck the spent hulls. Not a problem when hunting quail but not good for competing. I put some lighter springs in but now it won’t hit the primers hard enough to set them off. Does anybody have experience with this or suggestions for springs that might work?
