Chili Ron
Howdy, I have heard income tax will be take out and that it will NOT be taken out. Any real real good sources on which is right? Or are there some folks treated each way? Best CR

Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Mrs. LL and I saw our check a week ago; great. But yesterday received my Dad's check; problem is, he's been dead over a year. Some online sources say "Send it back"; others claim it is a a benefit that he (his estate) "earned". I'll put it aside and plan on sending it back. Chili Ron
Howdy, Just a stab in the dark but if 2019 taxes were filed for your Dad, that 1200 just might be going into his estate. The rules of this are an ACT OF CONGRESS and who really knows. Can you cash it without his signature? Best CR
Red Wolf
We just got our check on Friday or Saturday. I thought Trump was going to sign the checks, but I didn't see his signature anywhere. Red Wolf

Rooster Ron Wayne
Have not seen anything yet. Dont expect too anyways. So if I do I'm going to spend it all at little Mom and Pop Shop's and Store's where it should be spent at. Wallyworld and Target , Menards Homedept all will survive no matter where we spend it at . But ! Steves guns , The Smith shop, The Local tavern or Neighborhood dime store they might not make it if we dont Spend some money with them . So saith the Rooster. Assassin
Direct deposited 3 weeks ago, got the letters last week, it just goes into savings. We're both still working. I'm wondering how the people on disability for mental health issues are going to spend $1200, that's more money than most have ever had at one time. It will probably be spent on Chinese TV's, games, ear buds, etc. And, much of it will be spent on drugs and alcohol. They mostly live for the minute. Springfield Slim SASS #24733
Can you say 1977 Kawasaki 200? That's where mine went. One of the things on my bucket list, which is very short, is to teach my kids how to ride a motorcycle with a real clutch, and this fill the bill perfectly. Only 6,000 miles and in great shape. It was a good deal mostly because the guy who bought it a week ago found out he didn't know diddly squat about tuning a motorcycle and messed up the carb setttings. I asked him if he also checked the points and ignition timing and he said "yeah, I've heard of points but I didn't dare touch them" , and that he was going to get a bike with EFI and electronic ignition so he wouldn't have to mess with that stuff. His ignorance turned into my good deal. I did have to buy a new timing light, mine seemed to have died in the last 20 years since I used it last. Curly McCrae
I would think it shouldn't be taxed as it is our money that was taken by the gov't in the form of taxes.
