Best Shoot by a Dam Site is limited to 100 shooters (and we are already half full) June 06 and 07 of 2020. We even have a nice wide turn at the tight spots to accommodate those big motor homes. Dry camping starts at noon on Friday June 05. We will even let you register as soon as you get here! Best shoot by a Dam Site is a small shoot with limited range access. We only have 5 bays to play with and no access to the Skeet/Trap Range. NOW Eldorado is a different story. That is the first week in October (October 01 through 03) We take over a large portion of the range (12 bays) the 1000yd range and the skeet and trap range on Friday evening after dark. (It's a hoot to see trap shot with black powder after dark) We will have full slate of side matches, 2 mini matches (3 stages) and a Wild Bunch Match (4 stages) AND - Next year we will be adding The SASS Nevada State Black Powder Championship! This is going to be a fun shoot with lots of laughs and giggles for all. Lunch on Sunday will be catered by Foxy's BBQ. The awards right after you have stuffed your face! For 100 shooters you would need to plan for a 90X90 area. (100 shooters with 6' radius = 3600 ft sq or 90x90). Will the food be pre packaged? Will pards be serving themselves? Lunch is being served by Foxy's BBQ from Boulder City, Nevada. As our great leader (sarcastic) Governor Sisolac will not let us in on his plan change dates and we do not own the range so we must keep them happy. Some of the rules we have established are in a liquid state. We advise that if you or anyone who is sick, that they stay home and not enter the gates of our range. The forecast right now is for 97 degrees and sunny. With no rain is site. Any dam virus that comes out in that kind of weather is going to be cooked and UVed to death in short order! We will be publishing our precautions on June 01, 2020 after we here from what our Governor (Sissy Sisolac) has to say. Until then we do not know what rules we are operating under......
