Mustang Gregg
I recently ordered several thousand Win LPM primers. In the past, they were always in blue boxes and were brass plated. Well, the boxes must've been opened and repacked...Because there are some red boxes called "Win Match LP" primers. They are copper plated instead of brass plated. Has anyone got any experience with them? Mustang
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Bet it's a different metal. IIRC, LP was for std and mag. See if a magnet grabs'em. Can you post a picture of these new bxs? OLG

Mustang Gregg
I left them at the shop. But I'll take a pic tomorrow after Church. MG BTW!! I didn't mike them. I hope the hell that they are not those queer sized ones for .45 ACP cases.
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Std for the .45 acp case is LP. There are SP .45acp cases out there also. They load just fine OLG

Johnson County Mike
Hi, here's the page from Powder Valley, https://www.powdervalleyinc.com/product-category/reloading-supplies/primers/?filter_brand=winchester&query_type_brand=or It shows both types of primers. The "Match" primers are about $5 more per thousand. Doesn't seem that much more but I don't see the point . regards, Mike
