Buffalo Creek Law Dog Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 The world famous Calgary Stampede has been cancelled for this year, the first time in 97 years. The reason is that it attracts over 1 million people from around the world during its 10 day run andthey are afraid that it would create a COVID-19 disaster. Oh well....there is always next year. It was at the Stampede where I saw Gene Barry as Bat Masterson, Duncan Renaldo and Leo Carrillo as Cisco and Pancho, Johnny Mack Brown and Lash Larue. Ah! The good old days, gone forever. Edit: I just got off the phone with the caregivers where my brother-in-law, Lorrie was a resident. Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 In addition to losing my brother-in-law Lorrie at the Perley/Rideau Veterans Health Centre this morning, this afternoon, I discover the nursing home his girl friend, Davinder is in is now riddled with the virus, especially hitting her floor.
