Chili Ron
Howdy, Some friends have mentioned the days seem to blurrrr one into the next. Even the talkin heads on tv claim to have a hard time with the days. Back around y2k a local gift shop was selling out and I couldn't pass up the price on a set of kids wooden blocks. My niece and nephew never used em much but today they are getting used to spell THURSDAY. Out of date? Probably but it sort of goes with my wind up clock. The clock was supposed to go into a Soviet submarine. It ticks right thru power failures too. You could make your own blocks with wood scraps and a little paint or magic markers. DocWard
As we used to joke on deployment, "It's the next day." I can understand things running together for people. I need a decent wind up clock.
Smoken D
It use to be how many days short you were, or it's the day after yesterday.
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
Chili Ron, Years ago, my wife acquired these block calendars from a vendor. Have been using them since. Only problem is they are manually operated, so we tend to get stuck on the same day for days.
Chili Ron
Howdy, There is one Soviet submarine wind up clock on ebay, They added the word rare and tripled the price. Mine is heavy like camaro flywheel heavy. Wind up on Saturday morning runs all week. It stopped once and a local repair shop got in running fine. At that time I looked on ebay and some showed up at all sorts of prices. Shipping will be pricy due to weight. There is a tiny tab for adjusting clock speed a little. Caution: kids are attracted to the clock. Warn them that it is heavy and will really hurt if dropped on a foot. In another room I have a cheap battery powered clock that cost about five bucks. Smokin Gator SASS #29736
I'm retired. Wife works at Costco. She has been working different shifts and days recently which has lead to me being even more confused as to what day it is.

Ramblin Gambler
You think you have it bad? Try being overseas +8 hours from your home time zone, working the night shift with 3 computers in front of you all showing a different time. My laptop has my home time, the other 2 belong to the facility and for some reason they are an hour apart. For me, it's always tomorrow and yesterday.
