JHC I'm thinking this might feel pretty nice inspite of that aggresive tread pattern. I'm not a historian but I would guess they got put out of business by Sears. Then the Sears catalog was later put out of business by the one ply, which was soon upgraded to the two ply, only to be wiped out by the current champion 3-ply.
