Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted April 8, 2020 Share Posted April 8, 2020 Here in The Republic gun ranges are essential so we can get to the range, just not have matches (social distancing and all) Our beloved Treasurer-for-Life came up with the idea of allowing only 1 person in each stage building and limiting session time so we can run 81 shooters, max, through. That's 9 stage buildings and three 1½ hour sessions per practice day. If there is room in the following session they can certainly stay longer. Just so we have only one person per building. We did mention to all that they need to take responsibility for their own health while making this decision and sign up ahead of time to we don't have too many people at any given session. Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted April 11, 2020 Author Share Posted April 11, 2020 Update: Practice Day was a success! Had a steady stream of shooters and everyone got his/her own stage building. The large numbers didn't materialize for whatever reason--had about 20 shooters total. We had scrapped the sign up ahead of practice as numbers just weren't there is days preceding the event. low 70°s with cloudy skies and a light wind made it perfect for all the shooters.
