U.S. judge won’t block gun store closures in Los Angeles Quote “The closure of nonessential businesses, including firearms and ammunition retailers, reasonably fits the city’s and county’s stated objectives of reducing the spread of this disease,” U.S. District Judge Andre Birotte Jr. wrote in refusing to issue a temporary restraining order. Not surprisingly, Judge Birotte is an Obama apointee. Link to comment

Also not surprisingly, he has authored opinions adverse to ICE detainers, adverse to Pres. Trump's travel ban, and now adverse to the 2nd Amendment. And he's a double Obama appointee - first as US Attorney, then as US District Court Judge. But, then, as Justice Roberts claims, we don't have Obama judges or Trump judges; just judges.
