Flaco Joe Posted April 5, 2020 Share Posted April 5, 2020 Where can I find the date stamp on an Uberti 1873 carbine? I’ve found the proof marks. I pulled the forearm off and found another set of proof marks along with the letters “PFS”. I found the catalog number on the bottom near the lighting gate, and of course the serial number on the tang under the lever. But I cannot find a date stamp of the typical code anywhere.
