Way too far south to be practical. I am glad that Beefeater is again available. I almost put them out of business in 1967 while I was in VietNam. I did make them add an evening shift to keep up. I had access to a "student" type refrigerator that had a freezer 4" square. A bottle of Beefeaters would slide neatly into that freezer and if the weather would moderate a bit there would be tiny ice crystals form. One night I had two fifths of Beefeater a large jug of tonic and a big bottle of Rose's in my room. A discussion on some VC activity had started at the officers club but they wanted to close the club so invited the discussion to my BOQ room. The group that attended consisted of me-Captain, My boss -Lt Colonel, His boss-Full Bird, a Brigadier and a Major General. Since they were in my room and drinking my booze I felt compelled to interject my theories into the discussion.
