Disinfecting?

I see pics of health and sanitation workers in other countries out on the streets with fogged machines disinfecting large areas. South Korea was one and they got a good handle on things early on.

My question is.......is  this really an effective thing or just a hopeful procedure? Because I have seen nothing like it here in the States.

I believe that is what they used in my building when they sent us home last week.  I can't imagine cleaning a large area any other way.

If the virus lives for a maximum of three days on a hard surface, why not just shut down for 4-5 days. The virus should be dead and gone.

All this disinfecting is moot if it's going to die anyhow.

Schools are closed and the janitors are continuing to disinfect when they are the only people in the building, doesn't make sense.

Sanitizing the streets seems an impossible task.

for your food surfaces I’ve seen and followed recommendations of a 4 tsp of bleach to a quart of water. Spray on, let dry. I’ve seen other recommendations like wipe after ten minutes.  Write down what you did so that when you die, we will know what did not work.
