John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
Sold Excellent condition 44/45 loops 42” black leather. Sells new for $420 yours for $199 plus $15 shipping. The “Prospector” double holster rig is a direct descendant of the “California” pattern holsters invented during the 1850’s Gold Rush. It’s triple re-curve (cut down on both sides and front) allows the shooter instant access to the trigger and hammer of the revolver. This was a necessity in the lawless and dangerous mining camps of California. Originally made to fit black powder revolvers; the Prospector is now available for Colt single actions, Ruger Vaqueros and some black powder revolvers. The Prospector rig is available with a beautiful hand tooled floral pattern typical of the Old West. It also has a three piece engrave buckle to match. This is one of Kirkpatrick’s finest Old West Reproductions and truly a piece of Western history.
