I went through the entire text of this bill today.
This is a monstrous rape of our 2A rights on a vast scale.

• 30% tax on all firearms
• 50% tax on all ammunition
• $500 fine for each violation
• $50 million yearly for attorney general budget
• Colleges and Universities are gun-free zones
• Expanded Red Flag laws
• Mandatory 21 years minimum age for purchase or transport
• Mandatory Federal gun owner license
• Mandatory Federal license annual background check
• Mandatory gun locks
• Mandatory secure storage
• Universal background checks
• Warrantless searches of gun stores and records

Hopefully Mr. Trump would veto that bill. Otherwise we're screwed. Or, a lot us will be become criminals. The cold dead fingers thing.

I notice also that "Spartacus" has the same bill in the Senate as SB5717.
This bill number has been propagated over several years.. apparently they keep amending it and releasing again the next year.

Ever since the time of Ronald Reagan, presidents have asked for line-item veto powers.
Congress has steadfastly refused.
Of course the reason is obvious:  the opposition party pork would always be line-item vetoed from every spending bill.
