Solomon Vaquero
Howdy pards, I am searching for squib clearing rods for rifle and pistol but have had no luck finding them. Anyone have them for sale, or can point me in the right direction?
G W Wade
Do you have a welding supply store near you.? Good place to look Bought 3 ft 3/8 brass rod a few tears ago. GW
Bingo Montana
You can find brass rod on Amazon in various lengths to work for both rifle and pistol. .375: for 40 cal and above, .3125" for 38 SPL. I bought brass rod at Menards while visiting the out-laws in Iowa, then cut it down for pistols. I think TrueValue Hardware had small lengths also. You can also order it from J. Doc Fill 'Em 67797
Buy some hardwood dowel rod just small enough to fit your barrel. Cut it into pieces, 8 inches long or so, it doesn't have to be one long piece. Easier to store that way and you can use the short piece for your pistol if needed. Just stack the pieces in your barrel and pound away!

Mild Bill #2326
I made some from brass rod, on which I soldered a brass fitting for a hammering surface. One for rifle, and two sizes for handguns. They last forever. Ironically, I've never had need for them, but helped a lot of pards clear their barrels.
