Calling all cowboys, cowgirls, fiddlers, banjo enthusiasts, g'tar players, drummers, strummers and mandolin pickers plan to attend the 5th Annual Lazy Arrow shootout as the theme this year is "Songs of the West" and you WILL NOT want to miss the evening jam session that is welcome to all!

The theme will be part of all the stages as well as cowboy music played thur our very own "high tech gramophone speakers" (we acquired them directly from the basement trash can of the Smithsonian...Roger Rapid is a miracle engineer in getting the contraceptions to work!).  I also hear that real coyotes...who roam the 35,000 acre Camatta Ranch...may "sing along" with us during the jam session...and won't that be a "howl" lot of fun! (sorry)

Sign up soon as the event is filling fast and the songs that will be sung of this shoot will go on..and on....or until next year's Annual!  Look forward to seeing you there.

In case you missed the few other posts regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), we wanted to bring to the attention of the attendees of the 5th Annual Lazy Arrow ShootOut some of the things we are doing at PRVC to ensure your safety and well being:

• Hand sanitizers and paper towels at all unloading tables.

• Changing our "pot luck" dinner to a served dinner (eliminates folks handling serving spoons, and food coming from various sources).

• Having our morning pastries and donuts separately bagged (in a sanitary kitchen) rather than out in the open.

• Ensuring our paper coffee cups are upside down so folks pick up cup from bottom and not from lip.

• Hand sanitizers at our "Cantina" (coffee bar).

• Replace our spotting sticks with pieces of red paper (8-1/2"x11" heavy red paper cut in thirds lengthwise) - used and then tossed out.

• Wiping timers as they go from TO to TO.

• Dedicated timers for each bay, cleaned before they are put back in Bay box.

• Hand sanitizers outside and inside our showers and toilets.

• Increasing number of posses to reduce number of folks on each posse.

• Mention that this is a non-handshake, non-high-five match.

• Asking our attendees to follow traditional sanitary procedures (re: coughing, sneezing).

• Provide nitrile gloves at bays for any shell-picker who wants to use them.

We have a team focusing just on health and safety and I'm sure this list will grow as we get closer to our match (end of May).
