He played in quite a few westerns back in the 50's and 60's, and did a lot of television too. I met him at End of Trail when it was in Norco back in the 90's and again at one of the first SASS Conventions. A very nice man. Rest in Peace Mr. Cooper. He was good folk, a friend to almost every cowboy actor of his time, and faster than lightning with a sixgun. I remember when his wife died and he cried just like anyone would.
