Tulsey, SASS#11236
I was given some M42g primers the other day that had been made by Winchester. They are in a white box with a black plastic tray. The primers are copper colored. I was told they are the same as small pistol primers.. Can I load some light 38s with them? John Boy
Don’t have a clue about specific use other than they were made for the military. Have you measured these primers ?
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Mil spec primer made for select-fire weapons etc. For all intents, think of'em as a small rifle primer. OLG

Happy Jack, SASS #20451
Like small rifle and harder than the gates of hell. Not a very good choice for lightly sprung cowboy firearms.
