Mack Hacker, #60477 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 A friend of mine was having a gun talk with one of his shooting buddies. Their lady friends were in the room but not paying very close attention. Then one of the ladies broke in and asked just how many do you have, and the buddy answered her honestly. She said, "That is insane. Nobody needs that many guns." That relationship was soon dissolved. Later his buddy told my friend, " Heck, I just thought she meant; How many SAA's do you have?"

Howdy Sun. I might be mistaken (especially with NASCAR history), but I think the original 42 was LEE Petty, Richard's father. When Richard entered the scene, I think he originally went to 43. In NASCAR, the 42 number was passed on to Kyle Petty and King Richard kept 43. One think I don't have a clue: I don't know if the number was exclusive for the driver or if it belonged to another owner. I think Petty Enterprises owned both #42 and 43. But I admit, I don't know if Richard actually owned Petty Enterprises or if it was owned by a corporation, etc... ANYHOW, to get back on topic, I bet Richard Petty owned a few guns also but nobody knows how many..... ..........Widder
Mud Marine,SASS#54686 Life Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 That's not a question that one answers on a public forum. Also, I don't want to be called a liar and a BS artist. However, I will say that I don't have enough and I am short of what I "NEED".
Major BS Walker Regulator Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 I just store guns for others.

Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 C'mon, be realistic. We shoot a sport that requires 4 guns. Fortunately for me, that is how many guns I own.

Texas John Ringo, SASS #10138 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 I don't know what a cowboy gun is. Does it have to be able to ride a horse or rope a cow. Either way I don't like guns
Matthew Duncan Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Guns are evil and politically incorrect. That's why I don't own one.
Chili Pepper Kid, SASS #60463 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 15......oh wait I thought you were talking cowboy hats.
Springfield Slim SASS #24733 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 I honestly don't know. I do have enough for the 4 in my family to shoot a match without sharing, though.
Creeker, SASS #43022 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 I'm a long term (since age 8; Desert Scorpion takes great pride in starting at age 5) multi discipline shooter. My first job at 14 was in a gun shop (by 15, I was running said shop and doing all ordering). For over a decade; I ran the firearms division for one of the largest pawn shop chains in the nation. I'm a Nevada concealed weapons instructor. My family and I have owned a gun shop in Pahrump NV since 2001. And oddly; after all that - I don't own a single firearm.

CA does NOT know how many guns I bought... and NEVER will.
