How many cowboy guns do you have?

I was talking with a friend at work today about my gun collection, and when I mentioned how getting into our game caused my collection to grow rather large, I was asked how many guns I had.   "Uhm, a lot?" was my intelligent answer.

To make a long story short, I sat down and just added up all of my "cowboy type guns."

That would be main match pistols, main match rifles, shotguns, pocket pistols, derringers, long range repeaters, long range single shots, and a few miscellaneous guns that while not SASS legal, they are cowboy era guns.   Things like early DA revolvers, bolt action rifles like the Krag, and so on.

I was shocked when I realized how large the actual number was.     I'll share the total if others do...  :)

"... I was asked how many guns I had.   "Uhm, a lot?" was my intelligent answer...."

aint that the truth , it would be mine as well , but an even bigger number would be how many have you owned including those you no longer do , that one staggers the mind , i know a lot of folks keep very careful records , i have not and when i include the expanded list you went to it even gets more interesting as i had a lot of krags and DA russian/british/US that could fall in this category - although i never included them ,

the question does make one think ...............

That’s a “Ain’t nobody’s bidness but my own!” question!

I’m not gonna’ tell and you don’t need to know!

If you know how many guns you have, then you don't have enough guns.

Howdy Uriah.

it wouldn't alarm me as to the number of firearms some folks own.

What would be alarming is the amount of ammo and/or reloading supplies most

folks have.   When there was a shortage of .22 ammo and reloading components a few

years back, I don't think that stuff was sitting on pallets in the warehouse.  SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE

was getting all that stuff..... and it weren't me.

Can you be more specific, like:

In the safe

In the truck

on my person

leaning in the corner of a room(s)

stashed away in the fake septic tank

etc.....

:lol::D

..........Widder

California knows exactly how many guns I have.

In California, this form is both paper and online for instant access by gov't authorities.
