Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619
Any recommendations concerning his Westerns? War Wagon with John Wayne was well known, as Gunfight at the OK Corral was, with Burt Lancaster. The others seem to have good casts as a rule, but I've never seen any of them. Quite a guy. It's kind of a modern western but "Lonely are the brave" was a very good one. Not a western but "the Vikings" had a huge influence on me as a kid. And of course Spartacus! Two great classic movies! JP Remington
1982 This iconic Australian movie based on one of the best known bush poems in our history had Kirk Douglas playing two characters in the one movie. Can you identify both characters?
Widder, SASS #59054
I was also a fan of Kirk Douglas. But I have a question that I'm not sure of the answer: Wasn't he in a movie where he and another actor were talking about life or death where he made a statement something like: "Not me.....I'm gonna live forever". Or was that another actor? Looks like I might have to visit Mr. Google. ..........Widder

I liked Seven Days, but by the time I saw it, it was at least 10 years old. I thought "Tough Guys" was funny as all get out, really liked Eli Wallach in that one. To me, he was always Spartacus. Thanks for all of the entertainment and RIP Mr. Douglas
