Sixgun Sheridan
Can't believe someone is still using the M1917 Enfield.

I know it's a military unit, but they sound more like hunters. their primary concerns are being able to take down polar bears and musk oxes. I'd use a bolt action 30-06 too, and they didn't get much better than an m1917.
Sixgun Sheridan
Yeah, I've got an M1917 myself. Been searching for years for a replacement stock to no avail.

The multi-barrel, rotary aircraft cannons operate on the same principle, with the hand crank replaced by an electric motor.

It hasn't been in continuous service as long as the other guns I mentioned and adding the electric motor significantly changes the gun, while the guns I mentioned haven't changed much, if at all, from their original design. Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619
I know a Canadian guy who hunts regularly with a Ruger American #1 in .303. He says that in Canada there is never any shortage of cheap .303, and not likely to ever be....
