Buffalo Creek Law Dog Posted January 26, 2020 Share Posted January 26, 2020 Same as ice hockey, usually played on an ice surface, instead of skates you wear shoes that are non-slip, same rules, same number of players on the ice. The sweeping art of the broom(the straw end) is cut back so that there is only 6 or so inches remaining and it is used like a hockey stick. It is just a rough as ice hockey. You usually stay on the ice less time due to the player running up and down the ice instead of skating, of course it depends on one's physical condition. It can be played on either ice or pavement.
