Tequila Shooter
I came upon this shotgun by accident while surfing around the interweb. I'd never heard of it, never saw it, and don't really know much about it. What intrigued me was that it was a self cocking external hammer design. American Tactical Are these even legal for SASS? IF so why isn't anyone talking about them?
John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
I believe it would not be legal for hammered shotgun categories since it self cocks.
Three Foot Johnson
^^^^ This ^^^^ Legal, but not in a category requiring an external hammer shotgun.
H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619
To me, it looks like it's essentially an internal hammer shotgun with external hammers.

Tn Tombstone
It may be more the ejectors than the hammers. Does it have spring ejectors? I did not see that addressed in the description.

PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
The manufacturer asked the question in Jan 2018. WB/ROC agreed "Okay, except for CC/CG categories." (there were a few comments re encouraging one's competitors to use one)

I'll bet PWB sayz no to Sass usage. OLG Are you thinking this gun cocks the hammers when it's fired? That's not what the website says. It says they cock on opening. H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619
With regard to the "ugly" hammers, I do not disagree. I wonder if there will ever be any after market replacements that at least look like more traditional hammers. I've actually thought this was an interesting idea for a long time, you get the cool look of external hammers, but they functionality of internal ones.
