Uberti Rifle Screws

Tequila Shooter

Recommended Posts

I've got an 1873 Uberti rifle and the screws are starting to get boogered.  Anyone know who sells hardened replacement screw sets?  BTW I am using hollow ground screwdrivers.

Thanks

VTI gun parts  Good people to do business with. I have had good luck and quick service from them if they have the parts on hand.

Pioneer Gunworks sells a nice set of hardened replacement screws for $18.00 for the set.

A word of caution. My Uberti 1866 is an early model and the screw threads differ from later models.

I don't know if that is a possible issue with your 1873, but you may want to check.

Uberti doesn't use screws, those are threaded rivits

Yep.

Just had a new cowboy here locally that had to go through the experience of a new Uberti screw on a ‘73.
New hardened screws were ordered upon initial cleaning/disassembly.
