Tequila Shooter
I've got an 1873 Uberti rifle and the screws are starting to get boogered. Anyone know who sells hardened replacement screw sets? BTW I am using hollow ground screwdrivers. Thanks
Old Man Graybeard
VTI gun parts Good people to do business with. I have had good luck and quick service from them if they have the parts on hand.
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Use gunsmith screwdrivers and not std household type. You can clean the heads up with a file, and recolor with a LPG torch. OLG

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
A word of caution. My Uberti 1866 is an early model and the screw threads differ from later models. I don't know if that is a possible issue with your 1873, but you may want to check.

Just had a new cowboy here locally that had to go through the experience of a new Uberti screw on a ‘73. New hardened screws were ordered upon initial cleaning/disassembly.
