Alpo Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Has anyone ever seen, or heard, of any color dandelion except yellow? In my neighborhood I have seen what looks exactly like dandelion greens. The little flowers growing out of them, however, range in shade from red to purple. I don't recognize it from my stent living in Georgia nor does it appear here in OK that I know of. If you can get a good clear close up of the flower it would sure help out. Well, i retract the ditto on the id as hawkweed because the plant Alpo shows a very smooth flowering stem whereas hawkweed is as hairy as a fuzzy bear. I do believe it a close relative though.
