Missouri: Gun Bills Filed for 2020 Session

Sad to say it, but it looks like OLG jumped out of the frying pan (CA).. into another frying pan.
Notice how every single one of those "anti" laws is a Democrat bill?

And despite all this, voters keep electing Democrats.

Fortunately, both the Missouri House and Senate seats are still about 2/3 red....

But the minority will still be pretty vocal ~ that's their style!

I ardently hope that MO stays a full Red state.

As a long time resident of the PRK, I remember when we were Red.
I also remember when NV, AZ, CO and TX were red.

Most of the geographic area of VA is red, but the concentration of D.C. bureaucrats in the north end, and the welfare voters in Richmond swung the entire state to Blue.  This also holds true for the PRK, TX, ID, AZ, CO and others.  The big welfare cities set the direction (and laws) for the entire state.

Here in the PRK, they just discovered a "computer glitch" (read: a "lie") changed 250,000 voter registrations to Democrat.
I've been in the computer business since June 27, 1974....
Computers corrupt records or lose them... but they do NOT change checkboxes and data fields to "democrat" as a "glitch".
This outright fraud.  And like every other political outright fraud, it will go unpunished.

The vocal minority you mention are frauds.
They change the rules, "find" and "harvest" votes, and move the goal posts in the middle of the game.

"MO is about as RED as it gets"
Wishful thinking does not change the facts.

MO was 38% BLUE in 2016 with 1,071,068 votes for Clinton.
There are 19 states considered "more Red" than MO.

AK
AL
AR
ID
KS
KY
LA
MS
MT
NB
ND
OK
SC
SD
TN
TX
UT
WV
WY

MO voter ratios group it with similar states:
AZ, GA, IN and NC

AZ elected Kyrsten Sinema as their communist senator
GA came within 1.4% of electing communist Stacey Abrams as governor.
IN gave over 1 million votes to Hillary Clinton
NC gave over 2.1 million votes to Hillary Clinton

TX is near Blue today.
Beto the Fake Mexican came within 1% of unseating Ted Cruz.

Wishful thinking does not make a problem go away.
MO has a Democrat infestation that has authored a slew of anti-gun laws.

The good news: Gov. Mike Parson has an NRA "A+" rating.
The bad news:  Gov. Mike Parson wants more refugees imported into Missouri.

I have every confidence Parson will veto all of the current bills, should they make it to his desk.
The very fact that MO has enough Democrats to author these bills in the first place, is alarming.

The fact that the pro bills are scheduled to be heard, and the anti are not sends a loud msg to the anti's.

Remember, Missouri passed constitutional carry in 2017. ;)

@bgavin

How about a Top Ten Red State list?

In order of "redness".

Thanks.

The top 19 are listed above, in alphabetical order.
Sad part, many/most of the red states listed above also have governors who recently signed up to accept even more refugees.

WY would be my number 1 choice for a conservative state.

I'm an ID native, but even ID has been enduring liberal infestation for decades.
When I was a kid growing up there in the 50s, they hated CA people who brought in big money and bought up all the nice properties.

The longest running mayor in Boise history is a Democrat.
Downtown architecture is being torn down and replace by high density housing, bland buildings and parking lots.

ID has facing the same problem as CO:  a mostly-red state controlled by a big Blue city.
The vote counts tell the story.
