Goody, SASS #26190 Posted December 30, 2019 Share Posted December 30, 2019 SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!!!!! What I have here is the epitome of the 51 Navy Colt, the real deal. These are second generation Colt's. They are the Robert E Lee version, complete with Colt presentation boxes, powder flasks, bullet mold and cap tin. It is my understanding that the round trigger guard is somewhat more rare than the square back. They have been gone through and modified by Larsen Pettifogger for the previous owner and were unfired until two weeks ago. I purchased them right after that trial by Yusta B. I have looked long and hard in the mirror and have to admit to myself that I most probably will never be able to shoot again, at least not in competition. I think it would be a shame for these to not be out there being used so have reluctantly decided to sell them. They still reside at my good friends shop in East Texas, he agreed to put them out on consignment. They would ship from his location, and being Black Powder are not federally restricted from being mailed directly to your door as long as there are no state or local restrictions in your area. I just want what I have in them, although they should be priced $300 to $400 higher IMHO. The asking price is $1550 for the pair. This would include mailing and insurance. Any fees on your end would be in addition to this. I am firm in my price, will not split them up and am not looking for any trades.
