Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
I wonder if I had said anything about Helsinki Sweden, anyone would get the joke? No, what is the joke? Helsinki was part of the Swedish Empire until 1809 when it became part of the Russian Empire and a political division called “Finland”, later becoming a republic after the Russian revolution. Alpo
Die Hard (at least I'm pretty sure it was Die Hard) A comment is made about the "Stockholm Syndrome", and the TV news anchor (wanting to let everyone know that he is on top of things) says, "That would be Stockholm, Finland". If they can have Stockholm, Finland, they should be able to have Helsinki, Sweden. Right?
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Ahhhh, I see. I’m not enough of a fan of Bruce Willis to actually see one of his movies twice. Let alone remember details.
